UP Cabinet Clears Rs 265 Crore Airport-Grade Bus Terminal

The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved a Rs 265 crore integrated bus terminal in Lucknow, featuring airport-like passenger facilities to strengthen the city’s public transport infrastructure and support the growing electric bus fleet.

The project will be developed by the Directorate of Urban Transport under the design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) model. The proposed terminal will come up on approximately 7.06 acres at the P-4 parking area in Vrindavan Yojana.

The facility is expected to enhance passenger convenience, improve bus operations and support the expansion of sustainable urban mobility in Lucknow.
